Just finished reading through the Legendborn books (Legendborn, Bloodmarked, and Oathbound)! Now to wait patiently for the final(?) book. Really fun series. Very YA, but plenty of fun to be had for adults, too. Really enjoyed the integration of Arthurian legend with southern US folklore/history.

I do not get why platformer people love pogo mechanics so much. It sucked in Ducktales, it sucked in Shovel Knight, it sucked in Hollow Knight, it sucked in Tropical Freeze, and think it has finally reached peak suckage in Silksong.

I forced myself through Roadwarden in spite of the jank. Highly recommended if you like a good text adventure with lots of interesting choices! …just maybe get it on Steam/itch or wait for them to patch the Switch versions.

Been playing this on Switch2, and it’s pretty dang fun. “Zachtronicslike programming game but with food” is such a natural fit that I’m surprised I haven’t seen it done before.

We played “Escape Game The Kitty: The Vacant Lot” on Switch a few days ago, and it was really quite cute. A very classic escape room style experience, reminiscent of flash escape games like The Red Room, The Green Room, etc. It’s only $5 right now ($10 normally) and takes maybe an hour to finish.
