It is in its first draft stage, but this is the chapter I am working on right now, just about 2/3 of the way in.

It is important to take time away from writing to spend time with the man I love more than anything. Without him, my inspiration would fall flat!

How to write: Stop not writing. Keep your butt in the chair. Write really bad small sections of the whole—passages, moments, episodes, memories—til you have an incredibly shitty 1st draft. Then take out the boring parts, the lies and pretensions. Then write a better 2nd draft.

The difficulty of writing as a parent with littles: When you finally get some time, you are exhausted and can't think of anything to write. Jot down a few words, feel good about yourself, and hope for a quieter tomorrow filled with kids who are happy to play by themselves.
