lost today. They dropped a 4 spot, and grinded out a close 10th. Nerves. The ice. All the things. The USA women are good. both teams can and will play better. Build on it, win the next games, and the final Swiss game might not matter.

I think if you run this red rock in 100 times, you probably get 3 half of them, you get two 24 times and you get one 24 times. One time, you give up a steal of 4. π₯ is bonkers.

If Italy needed 4, Iβm not sure they would have seen the shot for 4. GB plays a shot for 2, gives up a steal of 4.

Arsenal have world-class game-changers on the bench. I personally think we'll be fine, but we'll need some of them to come out. Jesus, Saka, and Odegaard in a 3-person change, I think.

The bottom of the Premier League is a mess, and it is going to be fun to watch. Unless you're a fan of West Ham, Forest, Leeds, or Spurs. You could even throw Brighton or Palace in there if you were being mean.

I had my doubts about GB in mixed curling. None of them were based on their ability to throw the rock, just on the ability to sweep it. Mouat is one of the most ridiculously confident throwers of the rock, maybe ever. But sweeping, yo. Dude's a skip.

Curling tip: if don't have hammer, and you're playing a run back on the second thrower's last, you're in a boatload of trouble. See, for example, this π₯ line score.

The mixed doubles π₯ starts today. Mixed doubles is hard to pick, because everything can happen in an end. But I really like the US team for a couple of reasons. First. Cory Thiesse is a third throwing last rock. She has some experience skipping and a lot of success.

Einarson was dialed in. She made the hit and roll in 2 that was perfect. Could not have gotten to a better spot. And while she seeded control back with the missed double to blank, she made up for it with a banger in 10. π₯π§΅
