I really do live for the concept of Frey gently holding a Cuff bird.

Santaclautchi did not quite arrive in time for Christmas, but he arrived safely and sound all the same. My vintage tama collection grows.

At some point, Cuff learns that he and Frey met on her birthday and reacts with a delighted "was I your birthday present?" To which Frey immediately slams her arm into a wall.

The best part of sitting down to play Forspoken was my cat coming down from upstairs where she was napping to sit next to me during the Susurrus battle. My own little familiar joining me.

When you bring Susurrus down to about half health, Frey tells him that it's the beginning of the end, and asks "ready, Cuff?" And then the final battle theme starts playing, and I just adore it *so much*.

Last thing I did on the first day of the year was replay the final battle with Susurrus. The year may now officially begin.

Mannnn I still love so much about #Forspoken. The characters, the worldbuilding, the art direction, the environments. And really, the slow buildup of Frey's backstory and then going to Cipal and her learning to care about it are really special, even if it feels like a "slow" start. Its just... good.

Cuff gets reduced to the very least of him - a single little bird - and ends up traveling alongside Frey in her pocket. Every so often, he pops out to be a pest. Little pocket birb.

Frey needs to get Cuff a little vest that says "emotional support."
