Anyone ever think about just how small the landscapes in our dreams are? How they're rendered in about as much as an old ps1 game? There's no depth outside of where you are immediately located in the dream... I had this thought a week ago & it messed up my sleep for a few days 😂 so ofc I'm sharing.

Upon further reflection. My gut feeling is Caine's likely staying dead dead. Mainly because not only did the story unceremoniously kill him off but it also made him obsolete by confirming that the circus members can create just like he can. There's literally no plot reason for him to comeback sadly.

Coming back to this having a day or so to process things... and haha.

why can't I ever just draw one cohesive drawing? I always end up making an entire page of absolute madness. B\

Admittedly, this is a very sympathetic read on what happens at the start of the episode, since Caine clearly gets 'corrupted', but interpreting it as being the precipitating event for his sentience is still a very amusing thought to entertain lol.

Episode 8: *Favorite character literally dies* Me: Gets sad because shapes.

lol maybe I'm just a moron, but the most gut wrenching part of the entire story is Caine making imperfect shapes and then being discarded and labeled a failure for what is, I feel, a wonderful representation of true creativity. After which, we're shown a 'better' Ai making conventional shapes.
