last effort: I run a baseball site with some of my best, smartest, and most talented friends. we do fun and engaging work all year long, and it's about to get more expensive to read that work as of 1/1. I'd much rather you get in the door as cheap as possible. It also makes for a great gift:

doug christie’s inability to run even a three-guard rotation is really strange. lavine goes out with injury and all of a sudden keon and malik combine for 10 minutes played. how. injury is supposed to open up opportunities

sadly because zerpa's entire gameplan is ground balls (5th best, min. 60 ip) and called strikes (3rd best), i have to say he's a future all-star

i wrote part of a 2023 bsb about how angel zerpa at the time had the worst k/9 since 2014. it was like 3.4 for in 30 innings. i guess he'd good now or whatever

Josiah Gray has one of my favorite player pages in that he is absolutely terrible every year but within a very small range of badness, such that they keep him around

hey everyone, today we're announcing something at BP that is both long overdue and something I wish we could keep holding off on, but the reality is we can't: a price change to our subscription. We'll continue to provide one of the best value props out there, and keep earning your support.

newcomb looked really good in triple-a for the giants in '23 with a new sinker + harder curve. he was traded to the a's in august and they immediately shelved those changes but i'm not surprised he worked his way back to those pitches and had success

dennis schröder could be the worst professional basketball player of the 21st century. it’s him, jordan mclaughlin, or michael conforto. i cannot believe that the kings saw a guy who played for 7 different teams in 4 years and gave him $44 million
