I love getting alerts in my client Windows 10 VMs about upgrading to Windows 11. I always click on the “yes upgrade” and then a message comes back saying my machine is not supported for upgrade. Yeah you doorknob of an alert, I know that, and that (and a lot of reasons) is why I won’t upgrade.

I found an anime laserdisc live auction on Whatnot. Awesome, I picked up Macross Do You Remember Love, and the two Patlabor movies for like $36. The auctioneer was just flipping through the disc, and people bid. But another auction was a full on parasocial relationship. Why? Just Why?

There was a point over the summer where Twitch started killing these little one off channels that ran obscure anime, tv shows, and old cartoons. And that’s when I stopped watching. I loved the little wild feed stations that ran 80s cartoons in the morning, or Kung Fu movies in the afternoons.

I actually don’t hate the Utah Mammoths, as a name or a logo. The colors are ok, but it needs a contrast somewhere in there. The #TusksUp is really good as well. Although I was secretly wishing for the Utah Stormin Mormons, with black and white sweaters.

So, when do you let a long term Twitch subscription lapse? I just got an email from Twitch saying I’ve got a renewal coming up, and while I like to watch the stream, I haven’t watched for a while. However the feel bad because I’ve been subscribed for like 4 yrs. Fucking parasocial relationships.

Well, this isn’t good

I just watched the GTA VI trailer, and it felt like my laptop was already dropping frames.

GTA V is on gamepass, and hadn’t played it in years. I downloaded it, login in GTA Online, and am greeted by my little virtual me from 10 years ago I step outside and immediately get hit by a semi. Five minutes later of looking at the map and all the “Free” content, I uninstalled the game.

Listen, I’m all for Texas opting out yearly time change, but don’t set it as DST. Make it standard time, and life will be so much easier.
