Upgrades can definitely break some stuff now.. I've spent this week playing around with this prototype while I'm between jobs. There were some ideas I wanted to play around with and I've honestly had a lot of fun!

Added different weapons with it's own stats, it's starting to feel like something now! Spread, crit chance and multiplier, enemies drop stuff on death. Been quite fun to play around with.

Added basic enemy and totally normal hit feedback. Don't encourage me to keep it...

If you press the reload button at the right time, your weapon is charged with alternative bullets!

Ca... came.. CAMERA SHAKE!

How is everybody doing? It’s getting darker outside and I’m trying to prevent a too low dip this winter. Personally I’m eating a solid breakfast, going to the gym several times a week and going for walks during lunch. Trying to hang with friends a few times a month.

What if one player controls the left side and the other player controls the right side? A,B,Y,X on your xbox controller to spin the wheels.

There is a high chance that I'm the only one that think this is neat. But I built a quick tool to loop through all dialogs and languages in PaperKlay. So I quickly can find missing characters in the fonts.

This weekend I started prototyping an idea, I haven't felt "oh I struck gold" like this since my game TaniNani back in 2018. I also felt that with Hoplegs early on. I know these posts can be quite odd but if my gut feeling is right then I might keep this idea in a close circle until it's ready.

Tempted to record a small camping vlog type of video for my company’s 6 year anniversary at the end of this month. Might answer some questions I’ve been getting here and there and just chill.

As I alternate with PaperKlay port I've also played around with other prototypes. Mostly because I want to learn how to do other genres. So I've made a small card game which is quite fun and last night I started a base building type of game. Not sure if they'll ever become something, but it's fun!

What now? Any other great games I should try? Can be Switch 1 games that feels better now!
