To anyone out there considering making their own engine. Don’t? My advice would be focus on your game, if the game engine you’re using is bothering you in any way, there are hundreds of other better options. I’d recommend Gamemaker and Godot. They’re equally good.

Player Affects Environment: We’ve worked hard to make avatars change the game’s look. Ball Boy keeps the default environment, while Bean Bag Boy adds a knitted style. Not every avatar does this, making some more sought after. (We also snuck in a character from our scrapped game, Altruist)
