I attended a family birthday gathering in the weekend. It was essentially 48 hours of socialising, with no downtime for this introvert. I was STRUGGLING today. 🪫 😵

The minister’s comments about teachers & exams is a nonsense. Only 1 teacher is allowed in exams - the Principal’s Nominee. @ my school that’s me. If there was an exam running pm of the 5th I’d have applied for an exemption or delegated to SLT as I would if sick. www.stuff.co.nz/nz-news/3608...

Can't stop thinking of this from yesterday

It was my birthday today. I had to be at work, but it turned out to be a nice day with lots of treats. And I came home to make lego flowers I was given this morning.

My birthday is next week. Because the govt shifted term lengths this year, I get to be at work for my birthday 🙄 😒 instead of being a lady of leisure for the day.

This week I had a (copy and paste) reply from the Ministry of Ed ‘Curriculum Refresh Team’ re my concerns about Art History being slashed from the curriculum. Do they really expect us to swallow this?

Just my opinion but … Postcard campaigns are quite impactful. A couple hundred emails don’t take up much inbox space and are easy to ignore, but a stack of postcards are impressive. #nzpil

What I’d say to you is, if you’re a good person and have a great sense of humour then you’re probably better off than most.
