OpenClaw is a bit like the v1 Roomba. It's terribly inefficient, but requires no human assistance. Let it run and it'll eventually finish the job. These AI agents are incredible at technical grunt work. Writing tests, combing through PDF files, running electronics through the QA gauntlet.

The snowstorm from January 25th completely entombed these raised beds creating little igloos. The outside temperature is 3°F, but inside the raised bed it's a cozy 21.3°F (-6°C). This year's experimental winter greens include lettuce and arugula and herbs like catnip, Italian parsley, and oregano.

Got my first board approved for @circuitpython.org: circuitpython.org/board/m5stac... The process was easy and the automated test gates let me know exactly what I needed to fix before approval. Everything works but the SD card which needs some upstream fixes before it can be functional.

Late summer harvest: cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and ong choi, aka water spinach (Ipomoea aquatica). Ong choi is considered an invasive species in parts of the US south and is even on the Federal Noxious Weed list. It is also on my delicious Asian greens list. 🌱

Original arcade cabinets are hard to find nowadays. Most of the classic games in arcades are a PC running an emulator with an LED monitor. The CRT on this Donkey Kong cabinet at Cidercade Austin is in remarkably good shape for its age! About 75-80k of these were made for the US market. #retrogaming

This was a huge advance in #retrogaming graphics. On the left is the C64 which has a fixed 16 color palette. On the right is IBM PC EGA which still only 16 colors but they can be chosen from a master palette of 64 colors. Every scene gets to have it's own unique 16 color palette.
