Jax is out of surgery and going okay. The foreign body was indeed a sock. It was stuck at the entrance to his intestine. Doc said the stomach surgery he did is a quicker recovery than if it was stuck further down so I guess that’s good. The next few weeks taking care of his dumbass are gonna suck.

A tip from a dog owner that's been through a lot the last couple years.....just get the pet insurance. In other news...Jax is going into surgery to remove a foreign body because he decided that socks and underwear are a good food source.

The property we've been trying to buy is turning into a mess with the current owners. They failed to disclose information about the septic and we found out. We've had a full engineer's report that we paid for and found out installing one there is going to cost about $50k.
