It’s imperative Zul'jan doesn’t die in upcoming patches. Blizzard has a powerful coming of age story to explore, a young man with deep generational and personal trauma, learning to live with his anger, who deserves it, and that death in battle shouldn’t be glorified as the only heroic thing.

Blizzard, please let the Atal'Utek 12.1 (?) story be for Zul'jan what the Zul'Aman MQ was for Zul'jarra, his spotlight to find his place among the Amani 💚

Also when I say take it slower and pace, I don't mean just push back the same exact story 2 weeks instead of 1. I mean put in more story in between the bigger story beats, more filler and political talks and smaller character plots. Filler has a purpose, it's to build up the big story moments.

I think the only time I'll check out of Midnight's story fully until TLT is if they kill of Zul'jan, only that will make me say fuck it

I know this might sound like I don't criticize the writing cause it did outrage a lot of people and I think everyone's reaction is valid, but it doesn't bother me as much as the pacing bothers me. If this happened over 8 months, you'd feel it more naturally and let it sit with you.

The entire campaign felt incredibly rushed, we had no time to develop from A to B, we just skipped all the way to Z in this storyline All the while ignoring a gaping plot hole: Why didn't any of the Horde come to help Silvermoon? Not even the Forsaken?

Also, as we are all RIGHTLY dragging this elf unity garbage through the mud AS IT DESERVES whats the bet blizz's take away is "unity is bad" and not "unearned contrived unity is bad" and we never see Vol'jins dream of united troll tribes (something that fits in universe and makes sense) happen

I'm of the opinion that WoW's lore is to be cherry picked. Take what you like from it and cut the fat. There's some good things mixed in with allot of bad. Net positive, we got a beautiful new city and my Zul'aman got uprezzed. Love Zul'aman stories/zone, but cutting the Zul'jin hate.
