Well...it doesn't look like ep. 6 of #starfleetacademy did much for us. Brendan was annoyed first-year cadets were put in real danger, again. Alan thought a lot of it was just written to give Giamatti something to do. And Anthony declared it among his least favourites. #startrek

Wow for episode 5 of #starfleetacademy. We enjoyed the humour, and were utterly unsurprised by Jay'den and Kyle's continued, adorable flirting. But of course the main story tying with #ds9 hit us all in our nerdy Trek hearts. Seeing Cirroc again as Jake was wonderful. #startrek

After a strong third episode, #starfleetacademy episode 4 was more mixed. None of us were impressed with yet another powerful race becoming refugees. It's the Romulans all over again. We liked Jay'den getting some attention, but were frustrated with Caleb being 'SuperStar Mir' again. #startrek

OK, Brendan's eating crow now. Episode 3 did an excellent job of making #StarfleetAcademy feel like an actual military academy. The sport they play, the silly mascots, the pranks, the improved spreading of attention across all the characters, all aspects that were enjoyed. #startrek

So...OK, all three of us wound up watching the first episode or two of #StarfleetAcademy. And...it was surprisingly entertaining. We generally like the characters, especially the female lead...but weren't fans of first-year students being so...upskilled. #startrek
