Cities won’t stay livable by 2050 unless mitigation and adaptation become one strategy. Flood risks, heatwaves, energy demand and mobility issues all interact. SECAPs rarely show the full picture. Without assessing how measures influence each other, good intentions can turn into bad outcomes.

We need backup for climate transformation. And we’ll find it where we usually overlook: in civil society. A global survey shows that 89% of people want more climate action from their governments. We keep underestimating this massive willingness. But that is exactly where progress starts. (1/3)
