Yesterday I sent a new ms to my agent. It's the first novel-length project I've managed to write since trauma & loss shattered me almost 5 years ago, and honestly, to me it's the clearest evidence my brain and my heart really are healing. I'm verklempt. And I'm so grateful.

I use Word, plus longhand in a notebook for brainstorming (sometimes) and for poetry. If my inner editor tries to take over when I'm drafting, I change the font colour to purple so I can't possibly take myself too seriously, lol.
