I just merged two layers in a Procreate file, then decide to undo, but one layer was suddenly blank, then the app crashed! It was my lettering layer and I had no copy of the text! It was a dense page with lots of off the cuff captions and dialogue too! I thought it was lost but I have the timelapse!

Slowly getting back into small amount of drawing. However, today my Apple Pencil rolled off the table and clunked onto the ground. Then it wasn’t working too well. Looks like it landed on the tip and smooshed it in. New tips are on the way 🙏🏻

I’m getting closer to figuring out what the headaches from drawing might be. A weird combination of clenching my jaw, teeth, and temple muscles while concentrating. I have been doing this unconsciously and and not because I’m stressed but just as an act of pure focus and concentration

I guess I've developed the habit over the years. It hasn't completely solved the issue but reduced it about 70%.

Finally getting around to watching Common Side Effects. It is as awesome as I thought it would be. Really enjoying it.

I’ve had a big break from here and an even bigger break from drawing my own comics. Busy working on an illustration gig and trying to manage the pressure headaches when I draw for more than 10 minutes. Some improvement the last day or two. Hope I can keep it up.

Unfortunately this is still a thing. Not only can’t I draw my own comics but I’m in the middle of a major comic for hire project 😭

Anyone have ball park figures for doing the (simple and flat) colour art for a single page of comics? Standard three tier set up with simple lineart? Possibly looking for someone to colour 7 pages of comics if I can find the right person.

Been experiencing head pressure type headaches anytime I concentrate. This has meant I have been unable to draw comics. Which sucks for more than one reason. Mainly because drawing used to be the thing that relaxed me.

I can think of some pretty basic reasons why people might enjoy going back to older tech. Number one, It doesn’t get shittier as time goes on. You know what to expect. It just stays the same and doesn’t have annoying ad breaks and other distractions.
