Even if it’s not in the news anymore every day: this 💩 is still going on.

Omg, how is it possible that (at least) three months after good people started to look for a home for Melia this sweet girl still has no family? (Adults only, no other dogs, training is funded!) Just look at her!

If you're in central Texas & you have room to house a shelter dog in a spare room Friday - Mon/Tues, area shelters would love your help getting dogs out of outdoor kennels and into homes for a brief break. You don't have to do a lot with them, just let them decompress while we wait out the weather.

It is heartbreaking to see that Melia still has no home of her own. Thank all the good people not giving up on trying to find her humans. They’re out there somewhere. Adult only household with or without cats.

Does anyone know the outlook of a dog with a herniated disc? He’s over ten years old and can walk, but has difficulties peeing and pooping. He’s in pain and gets medication. Should we operate, or just treat him with medication and hope he’s getting better? Someone experienced out there ?

Kleo was a street cat before he moved in with us a few months ago. He still likes to sleep outside, even when it’s cold. However, he doesn’t mind being a little pampered now and then. 🥰

Always when you think the guy can’t go any lower, he finds a way. What a sick man.

Today, we had to put Finette to rest. She was almost 16 years old … that’s about 110 in human years. Here she is, in the garden of the abandoned house in which she lived alone after her owner died. Then we came along, made friends with her, and some months later she moved in with us. RIP sweet girl.
