Does anyone know the outlook of a dog with a herniated disc? He’s over ten years old and can walk, but has difficulties peeing and pooping. He’s in pain and gets medication. Should we operate, or just treat him with medication and hope he’s getting better? Someone experienced out there ?

Kleo was a street cat before he moved in with us a few months ago. He still likes to sleep outside, even when it’s cold. However, he doesn’t mind being a little pampered now and then. 🥰

Today, we had to put Finette to rest. She was almost 16 years old … that’s about 110 in human years. Here she is, in the garden of the abandoned house in which she lived alone after her owner died. Then we came along, made friends with her, and some months later she moved in with us. RIP sweet girl.
