I also used a new method to quantify very long (2700 bp+) eDNA fragments using duplex ddPCR. When we combine two mitochondrial assays in duplex, we can use double-positive droplets to quantify the "bridge" between them. Fancy but straightforward stuff. Wanna know more? ask away :)
