I’ve been feeling nothing but depressed since last week. What bothers me is that I have no fucking reason to be. I’m surrounded by friends; all of whom tolerate me at this point, I have a well-paying job, and my birthday is tomorrow…and I still feel emotionally exhausted and miserable.

Incidentally the petition is next to useless, but it IS super easy to call and talk to your MPs. Like, really easy. Email, phone, just bother them with your concerns. Their entire fucking job is to listen to your issues as your representative, it's good to remind them of that.
