So I just learned Andrew Dice from Carpe Fulgur passed away and due to that Carpe Fulgur will cease operations. That one hurts hard deep down. Recettear was an important point in my journey to fall in love with indies. So seeing that transpire just feels rough.

Random thought I had about fantasy elves: Their houses should be made out of stone or brick and not wood. Houses out of wood would imply that they cut down trees for lumber causing harm to the forest they live in. In turn they don't care for stone and clay.

One trope is that a hero kinda always get the one of a kind exceptional mentors training them and that makes me wonder if there is a case where that isn't the case. Where the mentor the hero has is average, subpar or even bad? How would that even play out?
