Finally some insight on the Republican healthcare plan that has been “on its way” for 10+ yrs.   Having already passed the largest healthcare cuts in history & policies that drive costs higher, Speaker Johnson admits their plan is to slash programs like Medicaid, Medicare & Social Security further.

Without sufficient staffing & resources, the National Labor Relations Board cannot process cases efficiently and ensure the protection of worker rights. The Trump Administration has proposed a 3% cut to the NLRB in FY27. With these proposed cuts, workers and the future of the Board are in jeopardy.

“Too many to count,” was the answer given by NLRB Chairman Murphy when asked if there have been instances of employers violating the National Labor Relations Act by discouraging unionization.

After 5 attempts, the House passed an Iran War Powers Resolution.   For 96 days, the President has violated the Constitution by engaging in conflict with Iran. This check on the President’s ability to commit U.S. armed forces to armed conflict without congressional consent is critical.

Gutting CDC funding for local health depts. reverses 40 years of progress & could cause a 10% spike in new HIV infections over the next 5 years.
