I read a lot of obituaries in newspapers & one trend, for famous people at least, is not releasing the cause of death. It’s enough to know someone’s age at death, but shouldn’t journalists ask “how”? Can a dead person be shamed by their cause of death?

One of the best books I read last year was DAYSWORK by Chris Bachelder and Jennifer Habel. It’s a must for fans of Moby-Dick and David Markson, among other things.
