There's a nice circularity to this solo show winning the 2019 Lucille Lortel Award. It went on to inspire a BBC series, but not before Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s show had it's Off-Broadway premiere at Soho Playhouse. A character from that series is on the stage now, at the Lortel Theatre... guess who?
