One of my proudest moments was to make it on this platform. What an honor as a black woman. 🤎

Came back for Finals on Sunday and clinched the win for Vault (9.875), tied second for floor (9.8625), and placed 3rd AA (39.050). I was so mad that I didn’t stick that vault again. 😂. I was still shooting for the 10. Proud of myself and my freshman year! 🥰🌪️

My goal for the season was to stick this vault. I DID IT & it was at Nationals. My other goal was to score a 10. One side gave me a 10 & the other side saw different. My score was 9.925. Career high & record setting for myself, team, & HBCU gymnastics on Vault. ❤️🌪️ #Yurchenko #NationalChampion #USAG

I had to change up my vault at Auburn but still pulled it off.

By the time we get to the Auburn meet, I’m getting warmed up and used to competing collegiate gymnastics. 😉

Our 1st official meet was at University of Florida where I competed the Yurchenko 1 and a half for the first time and I am the 1st HBCU Gymnast to compete it.

The first day that my gymnastics career was forever changed. 03-31-2023. I became the First commit to the 2nd HBCU gymnastics team in the country and the 1st HBCU gymnast in the state of Alabama. ❤️🌪️
