I did the math. If the minimum wage is increased to $20/hr, and a person works 40 hrs/week/52 wks/yr, that's still only $41,600 before taxes. I don't think anyone could make it on their own if that's their only source of income. With kids, it would be impossible. No health ins. that's for sure!
