A rule for spaceship shows should be: If a ship is to appear on screen, the directive must be to provide at least one clear camera shot of each view of the ship. A 135-degree flyby is strongly recommended. (Looking at the Miyazaki in SFA, specifically.) Living SFA, but don’t hide the ships.

We caught up with #StarfleetAcademy today. All the vitriol levied at ‘Series Acclimation Mil’ has been repetitive at best, contrived at worst. This was a story of a child striving to find themselves and their purpose. Just so happened to have a strong, historical figure to serve as an anchor.

Feeling dangerously close to a low-low I’ve not experienced in years. I would say my overall life satisfaction is pretty minimal. This season is always a hard one for me; some added things this year make things a little weirder. This hole feels deep, though. Midlife crisis, perhaps?

How to vent this in a non-overdramatic way……? I will be much more content when I can finally accept that the term “break” does not apply to where our life is right now. It is illogical to wish for control that a chaotic toddler and a house full of adhd will not yield. I’ve not accepted yet.
