Just updated again with comments from Gov. Ivey. Sec. Allen now has until next Wednesday (not Friday) to certify the candidates on the special primary ballots. She did not address calling a second special session to redistrict for a 7-0 map. I did ask.

Just updated this: The U.S. Solicitor General filed a brief in support of the state. Justice Thomas gave plaintiffs until 4 p.m. on Monday to respond, denying the state an immediate decision. That timing is six hours after the state's initial "no later than" request.
