I just noticed at YouTube the hover effect on cards seems to be custom to each video. I assume they are getting the most prominent color from the thumbnail. They also update the text color to match. This could have been CSS (except getting the color from the image) but it's all JS here. 😞

Good tip @donnie.damato.design: buff.ly/ysu28eJ Don't use `onDark` in your tokens, this requires adding another set of tokens for everything on dark. Better define a dark theme and use this in the section that needs a dark BG. This way no additional tokens are needed and it works out of the box.

YouTube Live settings are awful. TIL that if you set anything other than Normal latency, the livestream processing after the show can be delayed, making sharing the link to the stream broken. Great job YouTube, really helpful for content creators. 😒

Markdown to book pdf... why is this so hard?

I've told Claude a few times to fix its regex because it was either too strict or too complex. And it still isn't getting it. It seems my regex skills are still better than AI.

I just received a very convincing PayPal email which was saying something about a couple hundred dollars going into a crypto wallet. It had the @paypal.com sender address too. The CTA saying go to my profile was actually a link to add a secondary user to my account. Stay vigilant out there, folks. ⚠️
