More #baking adventures. My neighbor had extra pears, all ripe. I knew what to do…pear galette! So easy to make…pie crust, sliced pears, cinnamon & sugar. This recipe also had a nice surprise, apple butter spread on bottom of pie crust before adding filling. This put it over the top! 🍽️ #recipes

I needed some sweetness this morning, so I made lemon glazed donuts. So easy & they’re baked! My donut pan is a $4 thrift store find. Recipe called for 3/4 cup of sugar. I had leftover roasted chicken instead of turkey, I made chicken noodle veggie soup. I started by sautéing the onions for a few minutes & added chopped carrots & sautéed a little more. Then add broth (8 cups) & simmer for about 10 minutes. I use Better than Bullion with some thyme & marjoram. #soup
