I do turn on subtitles when I watch most things, and they are 50% NONSENSE. If I'm allowed to retire, and in need of busy work, I want to be in charge of all subtitles, etc and get them CORRECT. Future media historians are going to look back and realize this is when the atmosphere became noxious.

I don’t care what clever things it can do, I can’t sleep with a watch on.

It’s disappointing, that I’ve gotten to enjoy the old Asterix comics, but there are no decent scans out there. Even the official digital comics I’ve bought are not the best quality.

hypothetically, the only other Adobe software I need is Media Encoder to render my work. That's still free, right?

I mean, based on what I've read, we can keep using it. Am I still paying for it? Most likely. Is there customer support? No.. but to be honest, when has @adobe.com given two flips about customer support?

Part of me wants to think "not even @adobe.com would be SO STUPID to just completely brick the app I've built a career out of, and take away the ability to at least use it and create new files..." but then I remember... it's friggin' @adobe.com for chrissake.

@mohoanimation.bsky.social every time I start with Moho, it's so frustrating just to affect things. With Flash, I can do so much with just the Select tool... I can move a point, move a curve, add a point with Option.. I can select and change fill and/or stroke colors...

How are the kids posting the webcomics these days? Is WordPress still the hot new thing?
