I wish more things like this were done via raffle so regular people have a chance at one instead of these just ending up in some rich person's home. I know there may be tax reasons, etc but it seems wrong that the paintings from a public television show get privatized in this manner.

Just watched the Lilith Fair documentary. Reminder of how awesome and important this festival was and that its impact will be felt forever. Highly recommended.

I saw two #oasis shows this week and took my daughter to see #lesserafim on Wednesday and, suddenly, the world feels much better.

I have seen a LOT of concerts in my life, and have seen Oasis a lot of times in the past (they've always been one of my favorite bands) but ##oasislive25 last night at MetLife Stadium may have been the best concert I've ever been to in my life. Truly biblical.

I used to go through all these listing growing up. NYC was vibrant. Sadly, many of the venues listed on them have no closed and become luxury apartments. Gentrication destroyed the NYC music scene.

One of the unexpected effects of social media is the more or less constant revelations that what you thought was an unusual personal quirk, isn’t.

Did errands through Manhattan today using the subway and each time I jumped back on, it cost $2.95 even though I was out of the train for only a few minutes. If NYC wants to encourage people to use train more, perhaps there should be no charge if you jump back on subway before a certain time.

This was next on my to be read queue and ends up being kind of timely. My third Han Kang novel of the last few months.
