My local Walmart actually had the new 80th Thomas Motorized engines!! One full display box, must have just been put out! I only wanted Thomas, Gordon and Flying Scotsman. I'm so excited, was such a nice treat to find them in store! #TTTE

I've had no luck in finding the new 80th anniversary Thomas motorized toys in my town. AEG is still shelf warming. Would be nice to own a couple 80th anniversary items, still on the look out!

Regarding the new Thomas toy posts, I don't really know when they release in the us, but there are rumors that it is June. Would be interesting if too by that time we get images of more characters released in the new lines. What we have so far can't be the only ones.

Here's more official photographs of the new Classic Thomas 2025 Motorized engines, this time the smaller release ones. All three sources are NDA toys, I believe. Gordon, James and Nia's small packages have yet to be seen.

80 years is a legacy. It's heartwarming seeing the love for the RWS books and the Thomas TV show after all these years. We each have our own memories of growing up with either one or both. Thomas and his friends will live in our hearts forever. Thank you so much, Wilbert Awdry and Britt Allcroft.

80 years ago, The Three Railway Engines was published on May 12th 1945, by The Rev. W. Awdry. Introducing the world to Edward, Henry and Gordon. The book would become part of The Railway Series and ultimately the legacy of Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends. Happy 80th Anniversary!! #RWS #TTTE

Since it is the 80th, Edward should be getting some toys. We know Henry will be getting a diecast soon, would be awesome if he also got a Motorized. For consistency sake, imo all characters should receive both a motorized and a diecast toy. Otherwise it just seems irregular.

XtremeTrainz said the box he found with the new Motorized larger packs, contained 2 each of Thomas, Gordon, James and Flying Scotsman. At the toy fair we also saw Percy and Nia packs, so those two will probably be part of a second wave then. Maybe Duck will get a larger pack too?

You know now that I'm older and have a functioning brain, I'm just thinking how absolutely crazy it was when during 2009-2012 when the rest of the world had moved onto Trackmaster Fisherprice, Japan still had their classic Plarail Thomas series going up until the 2012 1st edition CGI Revamp

So according to a TootallyThomas FB post, Mattel is cancelling Wooden Railway...again. I'm sad about this but not surprised. The range is nice but expensive. It's also no doubt, more expensive to make then diecast and plastic toys. The new range was launched in 2022 and besides dowt... (1/2)

Seeing the new Thomas toys for the 80th anniversary has got me excited for something in this new crazy world we're living in. I can't wait to see more characters, what we've been shown at the toy fair seems promising. So happy to see rws imagery, cgi series faces and details.

....Holy shit, I was NOT expecting this huge drop with the new Thomas merch. Some of the Motorized engines look off with the proportions (Moreso the tender engines) but the fact that this new line is starting off with BOTH Duck and Flying Scotsman is CRAZY.
