Over 300 families have now gained a total of £500k in benefits with help from Money Matters — a scheme we set up with Kellogg's 🪙 Since launching in 2022, the scheme has helped families secure benefits they didn’t know they were entitled to, with one family gaining a staggering £24,121 a year.

New data from @endchildpoverty.bsky.social shows that at least one in four children live in poverty in the vast majority of constituencies (88%) in North West England. For Manchester Rusholme, the picture is even more bleak – with more than half of all children currently living in poverty.

🚨 The DWP has released its annual Households Below Average Income statistics, which show that child poverty has reached a record high – with 4.5 million children in the UK now below the poverty line. This figure is up from 3.6 million in 2010/11.
