🌱OK Rose experts. I am not madly keen on Roses but I did see a stunning Veilchenblau rambler whilst on holiday. It looks like it has a big spread I have a fence I can train it against, but would an arch be better? Do i need to let it "ramble" or can it stand a bit of annual pruning?

🌱 I am thinking of investing in some column fruit trees (limited space, but big ideas.) Apples, pears and plums; l would like a quince but can't find a column one. Anyone got any experience of them. I am aware of pollination requirements.

Did anyone catch the name of the Chinese artist who painted the picture of the sparrows as seen on antiques roadshow last night?

🌱A news segment about packaging has prompted me to remind you all, that all our packets, gift boxes etc. are made from paper or cardboard (recycled/FSC if available). The use of plastic tape will be discontinued once we have used up the address labels that seem reluctant to stay adhered!
