Bringing up his arm to block the attack, the kick would send him stumbling back a bit. And from the way the energy in his arm slightly flared up, it didn't like that...

❝Dark Pales!❞ Countering the projectiles with his own, he'd throw out small, powerful fireballs.

❝Hmph. A fool /and/ a worm.❞ Gulus would soon turn to the insect digimon with his arms crossed. ❝Come then. See if you are worth my time.❞

[ A kick that was easily blocked by the dragon simply raising his arm to counter it. ] ❝...another annoying worm?❞

[ What was this digimon doing? Simply walking away after skewering two rookie digimon for their data, of course. ] [ Had the hero acted earlier, he could've saved at least one of them. ] [ But a strange, purple energy was coming out of the dark digimon's left arm, which it was holding fervently. ]

It's a shoddy job, but he's managed to wrap his left arm up in bandages. It suppressed excess energy from spewing out of his left arm, at the cost of it hurting more.

He's managed to steal some food for himself. Finally, his stomach can stop bothering him.
