It’s interesting to see the position Cadillac is taking with their new aero. They are dropping the overall downforce levels on the car. The previous car was thought to have some of the highest DF levels in the paddock. This will improve overall top end speed at Daytona and LeMans.

The only thing I would question in this is the statement that WEC and IMSA are the same. WEC has more run hours than IMSA. 72-69. Operating hours for these cars are massive and each hour is tens to hundreds of thousands to run. Travel in WEC is 4x more than IMSA.

Really sad to hear @sportscar365.com podcast might not return after this week. Their Double Stint pod was a must listen if you wanted to keep up with sportscar racing globally. I hope they are able to come back soon.

Honestly, if I was half the field, I’d take the pit lane start or the grid penalties for new engines. Everyone is detuned the point of survival, they are at a massive power disadvantage to someone who changes engines and can turn the power up to 10.
