If the Cleveland GP makes its return to the IndyCar schedule (I’m not convinced it will), it won’t have an impact on the race at Mid Ohio. CART/Indycar raced at both for decades with zero issue. People saying it will kill off Mid-Ohio are clueless.

The Cleveland GP holds a special place in my heart as it was the first major IndyCar race I ever attended. If they weee to return, I’d definitely make the drive.

A bit of a left field grab from Acura. Palou in Europe and Ohta in SF that weekend left them with few in house options. Herta joining Cadillac F1 likely excluded him. Ericsson is probably still on honeymoon, and Kirkwood likely in the Lexus.

Horner has been linked to Alpine for a little bit. I don’t see him taking over the team with Briatore still at the helm in a partnership. Horner wants total control.

Honestly, I was hoping Ye Yifei would have made it to Petit Le Mans. But Alessandro is a hidden star in the IMSA paddock on race weekends.

People questioning Alpine’s performance at Fuji haven’t been paying attention. The Cadillac’s got caught out due to unlucky safety car timing, but all of the cars that qualified in the top 10 were fast. Clean air matters massively at Fuji and the cars in front have an advantage no matter who.

The A424 is one of my favorite hypercars. Such a gorgeous beast. I will really wish Alpine would bring it to IMSA.
