Weekend at home (mostly) alone with a pulled tendon in my knee. At least I've been able to play a stupid amount of tears if the kingdom! Hah.

So, they husband and I are trying to arrange a trip to Europe this year. Likely near Belgium, western part of Germany, north France, the Netherlands... that kind of area. Know any good breweries worth visiting, or things worth doing? :)

A few drinks and bad movies on a weekend brings back all the good memories <3. Just need some pizza!

I did get my bonus though! Of which, I got to keep around 38% of, after taxes. Thanks Quebec!

So, soon my team and I are going to be paradropped into another team that's 2 years behind schedule to try and help. I know the work, but for the rest of my team it's all in a programming language they've never used. Wish us luck! Otherwise my life is meetings (aka, hell) and late nights. Oof.

A day of eating chocolate, drinking beer and mulled wine, and playing video games. Not a bad way to wrap up vacation. Plus spending most of the day curled up with the husband. Back to work next Monday. And back to the work gym.

One more chill day before it's a busy weekend, then back to work. I think I'll spend it cuddling on the couch upstairs 😏 After workout, of course. Good habits start again in 3 days.

Rough month at work. One person left thanks to a better offer. Now another is about to. The team went from 7 to now 3 in the past year. So now I just want to have whisky, flop in bed, and cuddle with all the sexy folks. Dealing with this is a Monday problem.

You know, I will never say this without a bit of whisky in me, but I am low-key happy with how my gym progress has been over the past year. Always could be better, but it's so much better than where I started. Let that thought carry me through 7am cardio sessions.

So, for those with home gyms: What's your must-have home gym equipment? With winter setting in, the zeeb and I want to beef ours up beyond the cardio equipment, floor space and mats, and free weights we have. We have lots of space :).

Power is out at work, and the gym. That's alright, but also a bunch of the emergency lights are not working.

Another trip around the sun is complete! So, what did you get me 😉? Today is for cake, beer, and just a light workout. Otherwise, it's relaxing, playing games, and having fun ❤️.

That's a new one today. Some kid at the gym takes the sanitizing wipe stand and places it in front of a piece of equipment so he can use it to hold his auto-tracking gimble as he uses the leg press machine. He triggers it, does 2 reps, then repositions for another take. Sigh. I just want to go.
