I finally finished the little purple tulips that I started last week but in the meantime I put pink nail stickers on and now they clash. 😅😅 Oh well. Luckily, the tulips will last much longer than the nails. 😂 🌷🌷

I made a cat with flocking “powder” for fur. I had no idea that flocking came in different lengths until my order showed up with “5mm” printed on the label. I thought it was too long at first, but now I think it’s too thick.

@tds.xyz brought flowers for our anniversary last week. They reminded me (especially the hydrangea) of my mini flowers from friends, which reminded me that I haven’t made or acquired any new minis in a while and maybe I should get back to it? 😅

Just added the gooseneck kettle print files to my shop! Still haven’t added the coffee grinder even though I designed it ages ago. I printed the hopper & bin in spiral vase mode, but I like to give the option to print as-is or in resin so I’ll need to redo those parts first.

I had been wanting to make a needle felt panda for a while and *finally* got around to it. When I first started, I wasn’t quite sure how much realism I was aiming for, or if this should be a 1:12 scale plushie toy. But as it progressed, it became evident that it’s just a little baby. 🥹

I haven’t felt like making minis lately so I thought I’d pull myself out of my rut by printing some models from Thingiverse at 8.33% of their original size. While the physical act of colouring the squares was kind of therapeutic, I ended up enlisting the help of my paper printer. 😅

The crowd got a bit bigger than this but it was still hard to hear much because an exercise class outside a hotel across the street was louder. 😅

I painted @molsonkitty.cat (in @procreate.com) as a Recency-era gentleman (because Jane Austen) and got it printed on canvas back in 2019. And then when I made my dollhouse, I made a mini canvas. He was the best little guy and I miss him so much.

My best score at the Vancouver Dollhouse Miniature Show last week was this four-piece Chinese style bedroom set for $15!! I have nowhere to put it but I HAD to have it anyway. Guess I’ll have to make a whole new dollhouse now? Or at least a roombox

I first made this model over a year ago for Rosa’s birthday, but never actually printed it myself. I even listed the file on Etsy without doing my own print first. 😅 Anyway, better late than never, right? I finished the print with stone texture spray paint and UV resin for the water.

Mini-Liang’s corset is juuust long enough to double as a mini-dress… if not for the open back. Pretty on-brand, since IRL I’m 5’2” and everything is always slightly too long unless it’s from the petite section. Check out her tiny tattoos!

I made a little corset using a kit that I got in Chicago. Idk why I got two kits. It turned out pretty cute but I don’t want to do this again. I was confused by the instructions for the straps so I decided that the corset didn’t need straps. 😂 I also skipped the ruching and the garter stays.

It’s my birthday! And omg I’m 40‽ I did a semi-nude photoshoot but didn’t let them talk me into getting full size prints. Instead, my friend Rosa made mini prints for my dollhouse! T made me the sweetest crafting apron, and Anna’s mini Uggs inspired the real life Uggs from my MIL. 🥰

When I first made this miniature Bambu Lab A1 Mini, I just plopped the build plate on the z-axis rail, held only by gravity. I gave it more thought, and now it snaps onto the rail and won’t fall off—while still moving back and forth. BIG improvement for a tiny thing, if I do say so myself.😊

What better way to bring my two favourite hobbies together than to do a mini collab with a Canadian yoga gear company, Scoria World. They first got my attention with an ad that said their cork mats get more grippy with sweat. I do a lot of hot yoga, so of course I was intrigued!

At the symphony last night, the orchestra opened with O Canada and everyone stood up and sang. It was new and unexpected but not unpleasant! 🇨🇦❤️
