#wolaotd Mother Miounne inspired Lucia to learn the culinary arts, and getting to try new kinds of dishes is a major part of what drives her to travel. Meanwhile, T'zhet's combat job doubles as his main hobby. As a Machinist, he's been tinkering with all kinds of gadgets most of his adult life.

Ooh, got a few: #wolaotd - Fray has the Echo, and the DRK job quest story involves mind-melding and spending time sorting their own memories out. Lucia's Darkside is as much her as it is the actual Fray Both are holding a grudge against the Heavens' Ward at the time, so their goals align. (1/3)

So XIV patch thoughts, then? 7.3 feels like a return to form to me. I've been liking most of the story beats before, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't notice the difference in cutscene direction and straight up interactivity in MSQ stuff. More of this please.

#wolaotd Bozja as a whole solved my whole "I don't know how to explain Lucia's surname" thing while also giving me an answer for where her mother's from, so that was very nice of Square. (Lucia's surname didn't fit anywhere until I realized old Bozjan had a lot of German inspiration.)

#wolaotd Lucia is somewhere between 10 and 12. Opening her own inn as an offshoot of the adventurer's guild is a very realistic eventual retirement goal for her. T'zhet is all 8. He's constantly tinkering with something, and people he's close to are reasonably likely to carry some gadget he made.

#wolaotd Technically, the "Klarwind" of "Lucia Klarwind" is one of these. She wrote it down as her official name when she registered at Gridania's adventurer guild on her sixteenth nameday, but the original namesake is a Bozjan conjurer's staff her mother was somewhat known for wielding.

#wolaotd About half of ARR is non-canon for both of my WoLs because they each play their parts without knowing the other personally. HW is mostly Lucia, with T'zhet fleeing the aftermath of the Banquet into Little Ala Mhigo. Their stories merge at Rhalgr's Reach as they bond in the infirmary.
