At #CSW70, Sweden co-sponsored the Global Safe Abortion Dialogue, bringing together advocates and leaders to advance abortion rights and access.   As Dr. Jannie Lilja, @swedishmfa.bsky.social, stressed: access to abortion is critical to achieving gender equality and empowering women and girls.

Sweden was proud to co-host today’s #CSW70 side event with Mexico and the Republic of Korea: Values, Voices, and Justice in the Age of Algorithms. A timely discussion on how digital ecosystems, platform governance and algorithms impact gender equality and women’s access to justice.

Russia’s illegal deportations of Ukrainian children violate international law, including the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and international humanitarian law. Sweden is working to ensure that the children can return home and that those responsible are held accountable.
