I think boiling down ALL fiction to kink is super harmful as a mindset too. Like same reasons I hate specific terms related to ships. Nuance is always key and media analysis is an important skill to have. Also tags. Like tags exist so people who want to or don't want to can find/avoid it

I hate the whole “fiction does/doesn’t affect reality” debate because on one hand YES we need to have media literacy and critical thinking skills. It’s OK to write about bad things. But on the other hand the “fiction has no effect and is incapable of hurting people” isn’t the solution. If someone-
