Hand #spinning loads of art #yarn lately, experimenting with different techniques& playing with texture. This is one of my favs, a mega-chunky faux-corespun. Instead of using a core of yarn, the long staple allows me to autowrap around itself, letting me 'sculpt' the yarn. 3.5m/115g! #artyarn

Here's another of my favourite recent #handspun art yarns I call cloudspun #yarn. I used a Valais Blacknose fleece to 'sculpt' huge fluffy clouds, some of which are over 2 inches thick and tested my spinning wheel to its limit! It's mega chunky and was so much fun to spin.
