What a lovely, lovely film. #TrainDreams is an earthy, soulful tale of life, loss & human connection with a wistful, haunting, beautifully ethereal quality to it. Just comes along, tells the story it needs to tell & exits with minimal fuss but maximum impact. Joel Edgerton is magnificent

While it lacks the songs & the oomph of the first film, #WickedForGood makes up for it with decent character work, an emotional punch & the powerful performances of its stars. The tunes are less memorable, the plot is messy & the pacing is off but there’s enough going on to deliver a fitting finale

Everything about this is incredible

Can’t lie, #TheRunningMan is probably one of my biggest let downs of the year. Not because it’s outright awful. It’s actually pretty decent in bursts. But because I was expecting so much more. It felt like Edgar Wright on autopilot for a film that had so much going on but so little to say. Shame
