I'm deeply saddened at the loss of Phil Campbell today. A mainstay to the later classic era – Motörhead was so big they had TWO classic eras – his work with Mikkey Dee and Lemmy cannot be overstated. I'm taking some time with my favorite of their live recordings now, a 1998 show in Hamburg.

My next project. Claude is kind of a big deal.

New to me weekend work tunes. With a name like Suplecs, it has to be good, right?

I've been trying out the OpenRun Pro2 by Shokz. They use bone conduction unlike conventional earbuds that put the sound directly into yer ear holes. If you've not read my posts about it before, the gist is I can't tolerate regular headphones or earbuds. Pretty painful: Jaw pain, ear pain, gnarly.

Catching up at work tunes.

I might be going backwards through the entire discography. Maybe. Possibly. Precisely.

It's been about a week and while there's some irritation, it's been pretty tame. Not nearly as painful. I think that I could do short times at low volume with these but nothing long like 40 minutes to an hour. The experiment continues.

"AI isn't taking your job" is like the whole "guns don't kill people" saying. People are replacing your job with AI. Fixed it.

Happy Birthday to Henry Rollins. I was today-years-old when I learned that the masters to Weight and The End of Silence are lost and any repressing of them is from digital, probably a CD. What a shame.
