Happy to see Bluesky in its slope of enlightenment era. Gaining critical mass is so hard to achieve without some major value-add when the space is occupied by a major dominant player. It reminds me of 2015 when Discord started pulling users away from Skype. It's difficult but not impossible.

Actually hyped for Bluesky. Reminds me a lot of when I joined Twitter in early 2008 to find SXSW industry parties in Austin. The UI is familiar enough to make the jump fairly painless for existing Twitter users. Hopefully this is the alternative platform the world collectively decides to support.
