Writing a book is hard. Editing is hard. Selling your book is hard. Selling yourself is hard. Finding readers is hard. Do the hard things. Do what’s difficult. Do what others cannot. Go where others will not. Because you can. Because you must. Because it’s hard.

I still think about this random desk and chair I found in the desert at times. It was gone the next week I went there, but I just liked the idea of sitting down and writing in the middle of the desert. Nothing is stopping me I suppose... Have an odd place you like go to read or write?
