saw eephus last night at SIFF. the setting, new england in the 90's, was nostalgic for me. slow moving, funny when it wanted to be, but ultimately a movie and plot that subtly faded away leaving you to sit with the emptiness when it was all finished

i recently got back into an old hobby: bowling. i bowled my highest personal score of 202 this morning, finally breaking 200 for the first time

just finished this book. very unique format, it's like 3 standalone essays somehow intertwined into 1. deeply moving and life affirming, awash in numerous citations i hope to dive into "In other words: we hope. The making of aesthetic objects is a specific and unique expression of this hope."
