The style of football served up this season was some of the worst I’ve seen supporting Liverpool, and while there were bountiful injuries, the quality was still there to put out far better displays. It’s a decision that suits everyone, thank you Arne and all the very best for the future. #LFC

Substantial changes last season, and poorly handled contract changes all of which were being handled above him didn’t help in the slightest. Just about delivered Champions League in a horrendous season. Ultimately where he lost the fans was his playing style and refusal to change. #LFC

Konate has been very good and very bad at times in his Liverpool career. A poor season ultimately just past, but suffered a lot personally with the loss of his father. Seemingly got through his injury proneness from early in his career, letting him go for free at 27 is criminal. #LFC
