Alberta just introduced Bill 9, which exists for one and only one purpose: deleting the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms as it pertains to trans kids, denying them the right to life and stripping their healthcare away. This is cruel, anti-democratic and anti-constitutional.

How has it already been 22 months since I had GRS. I am incredibly grateful that I had the opportunity to have it. Sadly not everyone does. I am still learning,I discovered that you can be allergic to lube. Something in slippery stuff was causing me to have a very bad reaction internally. Not good.

Good morning. I am happy to report I am stitch free again. Stitches last week came out with a pinch and a snip. Much better experience. Also saw my new doctor. Tests all came out normal with is wonderful. I am pretty certain I am his only transgender patient, which might be interesting.

Was a way nicer day today for a run. Sunny and +5.The 73km wind gusts yesterday was a bit ridiculous. Set today what is certain to be my fastest run for 5 km this year. I was running 5 minutes slower just over a month ago. I have been doing my hip, back and leg stretches everyday. What a difference🥰

Treating myself to a wood fired pizza for lunch. I was a brave strong girl this week, while they cut out a benign growth from my nose. Having your outer cover cut open while you are awake is not a great feeling. Things are healing and I am very glad it is gone. Pizza is so yummy 😋

Good morning🥰🥰🥰 Finally after waiting 2.5 years I finally have an appointment with the dermatologist to get the white growth on the side of my nose removed. It shouldn’t have taken this long. My doctor was a nice guy but 0/3 on getting me a single referral. I am with a new doctor now.

Wow am I tired today. Wife dropped her crutch and scared me awake in the middle of a nightmare. Not a great way to start the day. Was a cold -2 this morning had to navigate a few frozen puddles. Will equip the bike for winter riding this weekend. Some light snow and -11 in forecast. Brrr!!!

Good morning. Had an interesting weekend. Had a big windstorm and lost power for 6 hours. Felt like an eternity. Thankfully I was curling for most of it. Another W for the team. I missed less shots and I am really having a lot of fun. Winning is nice, but I certainly don’t expect to win every game

Good morning. How is everyone? I am definitely continuing to improve. I have been working hard a doing my stretches every day and it is helping. Had my fastest run for the year with 7:06 pace per kilometre. Still definitely grieving but it doesn’t seem to hurt as much, so that is an improvement

I am very happy today my mom’s house is conditionally sold. Just waiting for the buyer to finalize financing. It is definitely nice to see an end to having to maintain 2 houses. Is a bit emotional too knowing that my connection there is gone. Still work for me to do but feeling less stressed.

Baked some white chocolate with macadamia nut cookies last night. With the help of my wife of course. They turned out so good. So yummy 😋

Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday. How I am spending my Saturday afternoon? Digging several rows of carrots out of a very wet clay soil. It hardly rained all summer long and for the past month we get a few days of dry before multiple days of rain. Makes it so much harder

Fun with filters. Transitioning late in life makes me jealous of those that got to transition younger. I wish the opportunities today existed when I was younger. But they didn’t. My parents would never have accepted me, and I would never have survived. I am happy and life is pretty darn wonderful

Brrrrr. Cold ride today was -3C. I was pretty comfortable. Nearly rode into deer twice this morning in the darkness.Dang things.So very excited because my mom’s house goes from sale today.I am very stressed about this. The house has a few issues, I can’t fix them. I guess it will be what it will be

Wasn’t raining but it was windy and biking 11 km into a headwind isn’t fun. So tired today. I changed how I am taking my progesterone and I am not seeing the same side effects that a swallowed pill does. So I don’t get sleepy at night as much, so not sleeping as well. I hope it makes a difference.

How was everyone’s weekend? I had so much fun curling yesterday. Felt way more comfortable and confident and made way more of my shots count. Sweeping is really hard. It made a difference in our 7-3 win, now 2-0. Next Sunday I’ll post the link to the live stream of my game if anyone wants to watch

Happy Friday🎉 I was having a great day yesterday and it turned into an amazing day instead. My estrogen levels are right where my doctor wants them. Also got a referral for BA. Then I got the best news. My mom’s will is back from probate and I can now deal with the estate. This has been so stressful

I think today might be the first day I felt like I could stick my head out. Genuinely feeling happy today.

Happy Thanksgiving. It is thanksgiving weekend here in Canada. Feels strange not making plans to have my mom come over to join us. 😢 My wife does the cooking but I’ll be busy helping. Ordered some new clothes for curling next Sunday. Hopefully this will work when I am sweeping. It is hard work.

Managed to bike to the office even with stitches in my calf. The freezing before the stitches wasn’t fun on Friday. At least I didn’t feel these stitches going in like I did with my surgery when my spinal stopped working. The joy of being a redhead. Friday didn’t do anything to help my depression.

How is everyone’s Friday night? I decided that it would be fun to spend in urgent care after my bike pedal ripped open my calf early today. Hrt has made my skin very thin and delicate apparently. Wait was up to 10.5 hours but so far 2 hours and in the back waiting treatment

Nothing like starting your day with a bit of vertigo. I get it from time to time. At least it isn’t too bad this time. I have been having some troubles with my ears for a few months with water in my middle ear. Of course my doc quit and finding a doctor isn’t going to be the easiest. 😑

This is always the saddest time of the year for me. We are just a few days away from freezing temperatures now. Although we had a longer season than expected. I wish I could travel somewhere tropical this winter. Definitely going into winter in not in the best mental state. Going to be tough.

Back in the office which means biking to work and beautiful sunrises. Yesterday was 20 months post GRS. I have been struggling a bit, but it was a wonderful reminder of how far I have come and what I have achieved. I am at an amazing point in my life and I need to live in the present not the past

Had my first curling lesson. I was last on the ice in 1997. That rock seemed heavier than I remembered. Couldn’t be me getting weaker. Met some wonderful people and it will be lots of fun especially being an LGBT + allies curling league. Very proud of myself for stepping outside my boundaries.

Was a gorgeous sunrise this morning on the bike ride into work. I don’t often stop to take a picture but today was too good to pass up. Last day working in the office, working from home now. Will be nice to get an extra hour of sleep before work.

The smoke has cleared out so I was finally able to bike to the office. It was a hard ride I have spent so much time inside this summer. It is going to take a few weeks to get back in shape. Hope all of you have a wonderful Monday
